Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)

A Power Purchase agreement (PPA) is a legal contract between a seller (an electricity generator) and a buyer (normally a utility or large power buyer/trader). The contract can last anywhere from 5 years to 20 years and it usually deals with issues such as the rates for electricity to be charged and the economic incentives for the agreement. Nevertheless during this time the energy buyer purchases its power from the electricity generator.

Pulse is one of the few energy brokers that can negotiate a PPA Contract.

  2. The install and commissioned date(s)
  3. Any cost/benefit analysis that you have currently undertaken to assess your commercial options and return on investment (ROI)

We will then tender the PPA contract on your behalf to find the best rate in the market. We will analyse the price, contract terms and duration offered by the various suppliers.
